PRESIDENT SSHA: Roles and responsibilities

To lead the Society in its role as a national organisation.
To preside over the AGM and all council meetings of the Society.
To ensure that the policies of the AGM and the council are carried out effectively.
To promote and support the aims of the Society.
To support the aims of the Society.
To support the council constructively in carrying out its duties.
To contribute to meetings and to take on specific tasks from time to time as agreed by the council.
To produce an address for the AGM.
The president must have served SSHA council for a minimum of one year and have been a health adviser for at least two years.
